Buy West Eat Best program

Meet the Buyer presented by the #BuyWestEatBest program provided a platform for Western Australian food and beverage producers to connect directly with on and off-premise buyers from across the country. The exhibition provided a platform for local producers to meet face-to-face with buyers and industry to grow their business and examine new markets for their products. DPIRD Industry and Economic Development Deputy Director General, Liam O’Connell, said "Meet the Buyer had been a great success in creating a forum that brought buyers and potential WA agrifood and beverage suppliers together." WA’s food and beverage industry is valued at $7.1 million, with more than 1300 food and beverage businesses across the State and Buy West East Best has championed the benefits of buying local since 2008, providing support to the State’s important agriculture, fisheries, food and beverage industries. This overview of Meet the Buyer celebrates the diversity, quality, resilience, and innovation that drives WA’s food and beverage producers.
